Are you ready to make a splash this summer? Willow Valley Associates is on the lookout for a dynamic and enthusiastic Lifeguard to join our team at Willow Woods! If you have a passion for safety, love the water, and enjoy creating a fun environment for guests, this is the perfect job for you!
What You’ll Do:
- Guard the Pool: Keep a watchful eye on swimmers, ensuring everyone follows the pool rules and stays safe.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the pool area sparkling by emptying trash, picking up litter, and maintaining bathroom cleanliness.
- Chemical Checks: Test and adjust chemical levels four times daily to ensure the pool is in top condition.
- Safety First: Implement and communicate safety rules to team members and guests, and report any incidents promptly. This is a Safety-Sensitive Position.
- Mechanical Maintenance: Clean and fill the pool, check ladders, pumps, and skimmers to keep everything running smoothly.
- Guest Experience: Provide warm hospitality and go above and beyond to exceed guest expectations.
What You’ll Need:
- Certifications: Current Lifeguard Certification, CPR for the Professional Rescue, and First Aid.
- Experience: Less than high school education or up to one month of related experience or training.
- Skills: Ability to read and interpret safety rules, write routine reports, and speak effectively before groups. Basic math skills are also required.
- Physical Demands: Be prepared to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift/move up to 50 pounds regularly.
