What You’ll Do
- Complete resident service requests and maintenance repairs
- Prepare apartment turnovers and get homes move-in ready
- Perform general maintenance including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repair
- Conduct preventative maintenance and maintain service records
- Respond to on-call emergencies and help resolve urgent maintenance issues
- Monitor and maintain pool operations, cleanliness, and chemical levels
- Maintain tools, equipment, inventory, vehicles, and workshop organization
- Partner with vendors for supplies, services, and project support
- Identify opportunities to improve property conditions and resident satisfaction
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in general maintenance, facilities, or property management
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and carpentry
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license
- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
- Must meet all requirements for a Safety-Sensitive Position
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of maintenance, facilities, construction, or related experience
Physical Requirements
This role requires frequent standing, walking, climbing, lifting, bending, and working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Team members must be able to lift and move materials and equipment as needed.
Schedule
- Part Time, 2-3 days a week (16-24 hours)
- Participation in an on-call rotation for emergency maintenance coverage
